Full description

Discover the beauty of the Ourika Valley up close on this panoramic full-day tour from Marrakech, and escape the hustle and bustle of the city for the day. The Ourika Valley is the closest day trip to Marrakech, but it's not just its convenience that makes it special.
Take to the Atlas Mountains and drive through stunning scenery, from vast green meadows to authentic Berber villages dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries. If you choose to take this tour on a Monday, you'll even have the chance to stop off at a roadside souk. Discover orchards, vegetable terraces and hilltop villages. You'll be amazed by the hard work of the Berbers, who had to climb the hills with the materials needed to build these small villages, and who worked to create the terraces in a very difficult environment. Continue your journey through the valley of palm trees, following the Ourika, the local river. Along the way, you'll discover many fruit trees, tiny villages, the river lined with restaurants and the holiday homes of the lucky few. Then head to Setti Fatma for a refreshing dip.
Feel the water lash your face and enjoy a moment away from the scorching African heat. Meet some of the authentic Marrakech locals who have made this stunning place their favorite weekend destination.
