The most spectacular scenery unfolds along the 200 km between Agdz and Mhamid. Beyond, the desert dunes take shape, but before you get there, destination Zagora!

DAY 1: CASABLANCA - MARRAKECH - AIT BENHADOU - OUARZAZATE - DRAA VALLEY - ZAGORA
Departure is from Casa at 5:00 a.m., taking the road through Marrakech and the High Atlas over the Tizi n'Tichka pass to Ait Benhaddou village, the fortified ksar with its beautiful Kasbahs. Ait Benhaddou has served as a natural backdrop for many film producers since 1960.
Next, you'll head to Ouarzazate for lunch near the famous Kasbah de Taourirt, which showcases Ouarzazate's historical and cultural interest. After lunch, you travel south through the second pass which is Tizi N'Tnifift at 1710m and Ait Saoun village, the ancient caravan route for traders from the Sahara "Tombouktou", you reach the first administrative center called "Agdez Village" which marks the source of the Draa Valley, with its 6 successive palm groves (Palmeraie de Mezguita, Fezouata ....) and Kasbahs including the famous Tamnougalt Kasbah.
You'll continue through lunar landscapes and pre-Sahara routes to Zagora, which is a small town, the birthplace of the Saadian dynasty (Saadian tombs in Marrakech) who ruled Morocco in the 17th century.
You'll take a camel ride, set off into the sunset and make your way to the bivouac, dinner and overnight in tents.
DAY 2: ZAGORA - AGDEZ - OUARZAZATE - TICHKA - MARRAKECH
Wake up early to see the sunrise over the dunes, followed by a typical breakfast in the Zagora bivouac in southern Morocco, then camel ride back to meet your driver. Back to Marrakech, you'll pass through Ouarzazate where you'll have free time for lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you'll continue over the Atlas Mountains to Marrakech.
